Tis The Season To Be Jolly!

I hope every ones holidays were wonderful!!! I am going to start from the beginning for my little recap. There will be a medium amount of words, a ton of pictures, and one new recipe for paleo pancakes at the end. Lets do this!

I left Friday from work at 9:45am! How perfect. The drive took me a little less than 5 1/2 hours and I hit zero traffic. Friday night was calm and I made dinner for my parents. I fed them the remainder of my curry squash soup and then cooked up some chicken, portobello mushrooms, kale, summer squash, and some tomatoes.IMG_3994 IMG_3996 IMG_3997Saturday was my Dad’s 63rd birthday! I started my day with my standard breakfast, some of my Dad’s homemade soup, and a salad. For dinner we headed out to a local restaurant. Vegetarians beware. Looking at these pictures it looks like a whole lot of medium rare meat.IMG_3998 IMG_3999 IMG_4003 IMG_4006 IMG_4007Dinner was yummy but the best part of the night was the waitress hitting on my Dad the ENTIRE time. She was a quirky sweet lady but the table got a few good giggles about it. LIttle does she know my parent’s have been married for a millllllion years and they are still very very much in love.IMG_4075I didn’t forget about the pancakes… Just decided that this needed to be broken up into a few posts.
