A little Yogi inspiration

“Work, but don’t forget to live”

Yogi tea is one of my favorites as of late. Currently I am working on a box of Super Antioxidant Green Tea. Aside from the taste I love that all the bags come with little saying on the string. I wanted to share this one.

I definitely find myself over stressing about work sometimes and forget to just relax and live. Starting to run has really helped me with this tremendously. I realize I get maybe 6 – 8 hours a week of me time. Aka gym, running or sports. Where the only focus is making myself better and stronger. It allows me to forget about the pile of work that seems to just stack on with no light at the end of the tunnel. One of my boss’s recently asked me “What motivates you to run so much” While I don’t consider myself a full blown runner yet I definitely think I’m on the path to being one. This got me thinking though, why do I run?

You can bet though from the moment I walk into the gym or take my first step on a run the ONLY thing going through my mind is the scenery around me and the music playing in my ears. Its pure bliss.

What do you do in your day to day that helps you find that perfect balance of life and work?
